Your books.
Your business.

Kvekk does not require its own account. Your library, progress, bookmarks, notes and settings live on your phone. Provider sessions and API keys are encrypted locally.

No tracking built into the app

The app has no ads, analytics or automatic crash reporting. Diagnostics are previewed before you choose to share them.

Connected services

The app checks GitHub for updates only when you choose to check. It does not check automatically.

Browsing, searches, artwork and downloads make requests to their providers. Connected accounts send authentication and library requests to those services. Providers and file hosts receive normal connection information, including your network address, and apply their own privacy practices.

Direct torrent downloads share your network address with trackers and peers. Optional TorBox transfers go through your TorBox account instead. Install community sources only if you trust them.

Backups & deletion

Kvekk does not operate a server holding your app account or library. Android automatic app backup is disabled. Exported library backups include records, progress and selected preferences, but no audio or sign-ins. They are not encrypted by the app, so keep them safe.

Removing a library entry and deleting audio are separate actions. Uninstalling removes app-private data; audio and backups in external folders remain. Keep a separate copy of your audio when changing phones.

This website

This website records an aggregate count when its APK download link is used. It counts link requests, not completed downloads or installations. It uses no advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Your theme choice and opaque interest status/retry tokens are saved in this browser’s local storage. The website’s hosting provider may process ordinary request information to serve the page. Following an external link takes you to that service’s own privacy practices.

iOS interest and optional launch notification

You can register interest without providing an email address. Anonymous registrations are counted separately using an opaque browser token to avoid counting retries twice. These are interest submissions, not a count of unique people.

If you choose an iOS launch email, we store your email address and the time you gave consent in a private Upstash Redis database, for the launch notification only. Entries expire after one year. An opaque receipt is saved in this browser so you can reopen the form and choose Remove my email.

Short-lived, hashed network identifiers help prevent abuse and repeated download counts. The website code does not log your email or raw network address. The hosting and storage providers process the information needed to run these services.
